5.10.1. Dismantling of the engine

It will be required to you: keys "on 12", "on 14", "on 17", "on 19", "on 32", a face head "on 13", the tools necessary for removal of water and oil pumps, heads of the block of cylinders, the screw-driver, the hammer, a stripper of an oil filter, the device for a vypressovka of a piston finger or a suitable mandrel, passatizh.

    
GOOD ADVICE
If there is an opportunity, work at the special rotary stand providing access to the engine from all directions as it is very heavy to fix the engine from movement at an otvorachivaniye of the details of fastening tightened the big moment.

1. Remove the engine from the car (see. "Removal and installation of the engine").
2. Remove a starter (see. "Removal and installation of a starter").
3. Remove the generator (see. "Removal and installation of the generator").
4. Disconnect the transmission from the engine, having turned out bolts of its fastening to the engine (see. "Removal and installation of the transmission").
5. Remove coupling from a flywheel (see. "Removal and installation of coupling").
7. Remove the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism (see. "Replacement and adjustment of a tension of a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism and replacement of its tension roller") and its back cover (see. "Removal and installation of the oil pump").
8. Remove a head of the block of cylinders (see. "Replacement of laying of a head of the block of cylinders").
9. Having hooked the screw-driver, take a back epiploon of a bent shaft from a nest of the block of cylinders.
10. Remove an oil case (see. "Replacement of consolidation of an oil case")...
11. … an oil receiver, the oil pump and the laying established under it (see. "Removal and installation of the oil pump")...
12. … the water pump (see. "Replacement of the water pump") …
14. Turn out two bolts of fastening of an arm of the generator and remove an arm.
15. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a branch pipe of system of ventilation of a case …
16. … also remove a branch pipe and the laying established under it.
17. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a water distribution pipe …
18. … weaken a collar of fastening of a hose of a pipe to a branch pipe of the block of cylinders …
19. … also remove a water distribution pipe.

    
GOOD ADVICE
When dismantling the krivoshipno-conrod mechanism and piston group mark pistons, rods, inserts of radical and conrod bearings that at assembly to establish them on former places if they are efficient.

20. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a cover of a rod of any cylinder.
21. Shift a rod cover from a seat easy blows of the hammer through a wooden pro-rate …

PREVENTION
Conditional marking is applied on a cover and a rod (a badge in the form of a square and figure). At assembly of the engine the figure and a badge have to be located on the one hand. However the rod and a cover are not marked by numbers of cylinders. Surely mark them in any available way (for example, a kerneniye) that at assembly to establish on former places as covers of rods are not interchanged (the rod is processed together with a cover).

23. Press wooden whetstone (the hammer handle) a rod...
24.... also take out the piston with a rod from the cylinder towards the top plane of the block of cylinders.
25. Similarly remove pistons and rods of other cylinders, turning a bent shaft for access to bolts of covers of rods.

    
GOOD ADVICE
Turn a bent shaft a key for a lyska on the forward end.

26. Turn out two bolts of fastening of any cover of the radical bearing.
27. Separate a cover from a seat easy blows of the hammer through a wooden pro-rate …
28. … also uncover with the lower insert.

    
PREVENTION
Covers of radical bearings are intended only for one concrete block of cylinders (covers process together with the block). Among themselves covers are not interchanged. On covers numbers corresponding to an order of their installation are put, considering from a forward part of the engine (on a cover of the fifth radical bearing of number is not present). The letters of "BK" cast on covers at installation have to be directed to the left side of the engine.

29. Remove other covers of radical bearings and remove a bent shaft.
30. Remove inserts from all rods...
31. … and from their covers …
32. … from covers of radical bearings …
33. … and from all beds in the block of cylinders.

    
NOTE
The insert of a cover of the third radical bearing of the increased thickness also has the fillets playing a role of the persistent half rings limiting axial movement of a bent shaft on side end faces.
Similar fillets are executed also on the top insert of the third radical bearing.

34. Unclench the top compression ring and remove it.
35. Similarly remove the second (lower) compression ring.
36. Unclench and remove the top ring …
37. … dilator …
38. … and lower ring of a compound oil scraper ring.
39. Vypressuyte a finger from lugs of the piston and the top head of a rod.

    
NOTES
Do not heat a rod before a finger vypressovka.
Not to damage the piston, use at a finger vypressovka wooden laying, as shown in the photo
    
GOOD ADVICE
Mark details. If they are not damaged and a little worn-out, they can be used, having established on former places.
