5.14.8. Removal and installation of a fuel stage

The fuel stage is removed for replacement at damage (breakage of unions), for replacement of nozzles or for receiving access to other knots.
It will be required to you: keys "on 10", "on 12".
1. Reduce pressure in a power supply system (see. "Pressure decrease in a power supply system").
2. Disconnect from the fuel filter a hose of supply of fuel in a fuel stage, having squeezed its clamp (see. "Replacement of the fuel filter").
    
NOTE
Need of a detachment of a hose from the fuel filter, but not from a stage is caused by the fact that its detachment from a stage requires special adaptation (see below good advice) which is expedient for using only when replacing a hose or stage.

USEFUL TIPS
The tip of a hose of supply of fuel in a stage is fixed on the stage union by a collet clip. For weakening of this clip it is necessary to buy special adaptation or to make it by own efforts as it is described below.
Wrap up the stage union a tin strip, having made similarity of the plug …
… move the plug into a hose tip so that it was possible to unclench pads of a collet clip …
… also disconnect a hose tip from the stage union.

3. Remove a vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator union.
4. Disconnect a fuel discharge hose from pressure regulator, having squeezed its clamps.
5. Move a clamp of a block of a plait of wires of a nozzle up …
6. … also disconnect a block. Similarly disconnect blocks of a plait of wires from other nozzles and take a plait of nozzles aside.
7. Turn out two bolts of fastening of an arm of a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve to an inlet pipe …
8. … also take a cable aside together with an arm.
9. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a fuel stage to an inlet pipe …
10. … also remove a stage, taking out nozzles from openings of an inlet pipe.
    
PREVENTION
If at removal of a stage any of nozzles remains in an inlet pipe, surely replace a clamp of this nozzle.

11. If necessary remove from a nozzle stage (see. "Removal, installation and check of nozzles") and the fuel pressure regulator (see. "Check and replacement of the regulator of pressure of fuel").
    
NOTE
Replace sealing rings of nozzles new at each removal or dismantling of a fuel stage.

12. Establish a fuel stage in the sequence, to the return dismantling and removal, having oiled sealing rings of nozzles engine.
13. Having connected pipelines to a stage, launch the engine and check tightness of connections of pipelines and consolidations of nozzles.
