5.6. Removal, installation and troubleshooting of a flywheel

The flywheel is removed for replacement of a back epiploon of a bent shaft, for replacement at damage of a gear rim and for grinding of a surface under the conducted clutch plate.
It will be required to you: the tools necessary for removal of the transmission and coupling, and also a face head "on 17" and the big screw-driver.
1. Remove the transmission (see. "Removal and installation of the transmission") and coupling (see. "Removal and installation of coupling").
2. Mark in any way a relative positioning of a flywheel and a bent shaft.

NOTE
The flywheel can be established on a bent shaft only in one situation as one of openings in a flywheel and cranked to a shaft is located asymmetrically (has angular shift), however for simplification of installation of a flywheel we recommend to mark a relative positioning of details.

3. Turn out five bolts of fastening of a flywheel. At the same time by means of the screw-driver hold a flywheel from a provorachivaniye, having screwed previously one of bolts of fastening of the transmission.
4. Turn out the sixth bolt and remove a flywheel.
5. Check a condition of teeths of a rim of a flywheel and in case of their damage replace a flywheel.
6. Replace or repair a flywheel if on surfaces of a prileganiye of the conducted clutch plate or a flange of a bent shaft there are risks and teases.
7. It is possible to check and repair a flywheel in the workshop having the special equipment. The flywheel beating measured on a gear wreath should not exceed 0,5 mm. For removal deep рисок and zadir the surface of a prileganiye of the conducted disk can be proshlifovat, at the same time the layer of the removed metal should not exceed 0,3 mm.
8. Establish a flywheel and all removed knots in the sequence, the return to removal. Grease a carving of bolts of fastening of a flywheel with an anaerobic clamp of a carving, previously having degreased bolts and carving openings under them. Tighten bolts evenly cross-wise the moment of 35 N · m (3,5 kgfs · l) and in addition tighten on a corner 30–45 °.

GOOD ADVICE
Whenever possible at each removal of a flywheel replace bolts of its fastening new.
