6.2.4. Replacement of epiploons of the transmission

It will be required to you: a face head "on 10", a neck with the extender, the screw-driver with a flat edge, the hammer, a mandrel.
1. For replacement of an epiploon of a half shaft remove the wheel drive from the replaced epiploon (see. "Removal and installation of drives of forward wheels").
2. Take an epiploon the screw-driver.
3. Oil a working edge of a new epiploon gearbox and press it a mandrel of suitable diameter a working edge in a box.
4. The epiploon of a main shaft is replaced on the transmission removed from the car after removal of the bearing of switching off of coupling (see. "Replacement of a fork and bearing of switching off of coupling"). Turn out three bolts of fastening of the directing coupling switching off bearing plug …
5. … also remove the directing plug.
6. A mandrel of suitable diameter (for example, a face head "on 26") a vypressuyta an epiploon …
7. … also take it from the plug.
8. Oil a working edge of a new epiploon gearbox and press it in the plug the same mandrel, having oriented so that at installation of the plug the working edge of an epiploon was directed in the transmission.
9. Establish details as it should be, the return to removal.

    
NOTE
For replacement of an epiploon of a shaft of gear shifting it is necessary to remove and disassemble the gear shifting mechanism (see. "Repair of the mechanism of gear shifting").
